MEET DR. STEVEN
Dr. Steven M. Hopmann
DDS
Dr. Hopmann was born in Portland, Oregon, but his family moved to Vancouver, Washington, when he was 2. He has lived here ever since. He attended Columbia Academy for high school, then went to Clark College for one year. Dr. Steve then transferred to Pacific Union College in Napa Valley, California. He did a one-year internship in medical technology at Portland Adventist Hospital before entering and completing dental school at Loma Linda University in Southern California.
Dr. Steve came to Vancouver in 1984 to join New Horizons Family Dentistry. He has practiced general dentistry at their 4th Plain/Andresen location for over 23 years. He is an active member of the Clark County Dental Society and belongs to the Academy of General Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Hopmann has been married to Vicki for over 30 years. They have eight adopted children, a dog (Ginger), a cat (Little Man), and a parakeet. The Hopmann’s love outdoor family activities like boating, water skiing, camping, and snow skiing. In his spare time, Dr. Steve likes scuba diving and camping with the family.
